McAlpine Screened Porch Project Description
These homeowners wanted to enjoy their backyard garden and landscaping without the midday sun, so we built a custom screened porch tucked between the master suite entrance and the kitchen. A radiant-barrier roof and a high-output ceiling fan keep it cool and comfortable, while a custom ceiling layout ties the roofline into the existing second-floor windows. A stone deck and patio with a built-in grill finish the space, matching the materials and style of the home’s front entrance.
